    Maybe you overheard someone bragging about having committed a crime. Maybe you know someone who is driving a stolen car... or is hiding from the Police... or has killed, raped or beaten up someone... or is a robber, burglar or drug dealer. ​ Or maybe you just see something that doesn't look right. A strange car. A person acting sneaky. A person with a gun or knife or other lethal weapon. People taking things out of a house, garage, business, car trunk or a railway car. If you do, call Crimestoppers. If you aren't sure that what you saw or heard is really a crime, call anyway. Let law enforcement decide if it's worth investigating. It may be a piece of a clue to a big crime. ​ When you call, don't give your name. We won't ask for it. We don't want it. No one will know your name, not even us.

Anonymity is protected and you never have to give your name. ​ Tips that lead to the arrest of suspects, as well as the recovery of stolen property and drugs are eligible for cash rewards of up to $1,000, which are paid to tipsters on an anonymous basis. ​ Tell us what you know... or suspect. Call us and you may get a cash reward up to $1,000. Also a better neighborhood. Less crime. Less fear. More peace of mind.
  • How are donations and membership funds used?
    Funds are distributed in the following way: Most Wanted tip rewards are presented on a monthly basis Sponsorship of programs at the local school level Sponsor of the yearly Fort Dodge "Kid's Night Out Community Awareness Key supporter of the local Police Department and Highway Patrol - helping with various item's they've needed to enhance their service to the community
  • Is my online donation secure?
    PayPal is a secure environment in which to make your online payment. Since PayPal hosts the payment pages, handles the PCI and CISP compliance and automatic fraud screening you don't have to worry about securely transmitting your payment information.
  • Will my contact information through the online donation or contact form be sold or used for marketing purposes?
    No. Crime Stoppers values privacy and promises to protect any information regarding your use of the donation form or contact form on this website confidential.
  • Who administers the Crime Stoppers Program?
    A volunteer Board of Directors actively administers and is responsible for the program. Crime Stoppers is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization and is responsible for raising funds and the disbursements of rewards. The Board of Directors work in close cooperation with law enforcement and all areas of the media.
  • How do I remain anonymous?
    Crime Stoppers does not use Caller ID or record telephone conversations. We do not ask for your name, address, telephone number, etc. We would rather not know this information to not only protect you, but to protect the integrity of the Crime Stoppers organization. Instead, you will receive a Tipster ID number. This Tipster ID number is your name to us.
